Today I woke up very early at around 6 in the morning. I was very excited because we were going to Bruce castle museum. It was an educational tour to learn the history of Haringey.
Bruce Castle was opened as a museum in 1906. It has a local history collections related to borough of Haringey, North London.
I went to school as usual, and finished our assembly session, then took the bus to Bruce Castle. We reached there in 20 mins. My mum volunteered for the trip. Two class of year 4 went on the trip. Once we reached Bruce castle, my class went to the room where old historical things were kept, and the other group went to the lecture room.
In the room, we saw the very old age things like motorbikes, type writer, piece of German bomb, pictures etc. There was a dress up costume, so i put on a hat and I held a walking stick which was fancy. I tried everything in the room then I went in a room with some knife made from Roman era. There was a room of old age hair combs and a room with gadgets we can actually even work right now. I had lunch of fruit and cheese-onion sandwich. After our lunch we went outside in the park to play, I climbed on a kind of a rope climbing thing and the big roundabout was stuffed with people then we swapped over, our class went to the lecture room and the other was looking at the things.
Altogether it was a fun and learning day. But it was very cold and windy.
